Shipping

The day we receive your order is not included as the shipping day, so if we receive your order on Monday for a destination in Connecticut, it will arrive Tuesday, before 7:00PM, one day ground residential. We exclusively use UPS at this time, and because our products are perishable we have a strict shipping schedule. Our products are packed carefully in an insulated container with freezer gel packs and then shipped to you with the fastest and most reliable shipping method available. All shipping costs are calculated by cost of product, weight of product and distance from our address to the final address. We want to make sure the products you order from us here at Nodine's arrive to you in as good a condition as when it left our facility.

Delivery Dates

Orders placed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, can be sent out using UPS Ground Residential, 2nd day air or next day air and will be shipped on the day of the receipt of the order, all orders must be placed and received before 2:00PM of that day. 3 day select orders or orders that take 3 days by standard UPS Ground Residential received on Monday and Tuesday will ship on these days, however an order received on Wednesday will not be shipped until the following Monday, UPS does not recognize the day of shipment as an actual shipping day.

Delivery Days are from the Date the Order is Shipped, Not the Date the order is placed

All orders received on Wednesday and Thursday will only be shipped out if it is determined the package will arrive to its destination before 7:00PM on Friday. On Thursday only orders destined for Connecticut addresses will be shipped out for Friday. Standard UPS shipping does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. We do not utilize Saturday and Sunday delivery by UPS because it has special pricing that is Very Expensive. Any orders received Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be shipped Monday. Orders placed with standard UPS shipping rates will only travel during the business week of Monday thru Friday 7:00AM - 7:00PM.

The UPS method of shipping used can be determined by Geographical location and Season of the year. The shipping schedule does not reflect special cicumstances such as the weather, (heavy snow storms, tornadoes and hurricanes). These shipping methods are based on UPS Ground Guarantee Day-Definite Delivery, Transit Time from: 06790.

Summer Shipping

If you live in New England, with the exception of the Nothern tip of Maine, and in Eastern New York, (but only New York city and the Northern half of New Jersey), you should pick UPS Ground Residential. It usually takes only one day to ship to these areas. Upstate and Western New York, the northern tip of Maine, Southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina, all take two days to ship to by standard UPS Ground Residential. UPS Ground Residential can still be picked for Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, which usually takes three days. The states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama Georgia and Florida cannot be shipped UPS Ground Residential, therefore 3-day Select is recommended, 2nd day and next day air are also choices that can be applied. Due to the high temperatures during the day, we do not allow UPS Ground Residential West of the Mississippi River.

Winter Shipping

Any State East of the Mississippi River can be shipped to by UPS Ground Residential. Any States west of the Mississippi River have to be shipped 3-day select Residential, 2nd day air or Next day air.

Directions to Goshen Gourmet Retail Store from Torrington:
Follow Rte 4 West also known as North Elm St. from Main St. Torrington, for about five miles to Rte 63 intersection rotary. Take a right turn onto Rte 63 North, also known as North Street, about a hundred feet from rotary across the street from the Goshen Town Hall, behind the house at #39 North Street is Nodine's Gourmet Retail Store.

From Litchfield Center to Nodine's Gourmet Retail Store:
Take Rte 63 North, stay on Rte 63 for about five miles to the intersection of Rte 4 rotary, go through the rotary for about nine hundred feet, across the street from the Goshen Town Hall on the left #39 North Street behind the house is Nodine's Gourmet Retail Store.

Directions to Nodine's Smokehouse on 65 Fowler Ave:
From Rte 8 North in Torrington Ct.: Take exit 43, Harwinton Ave., take a left off the exit. After about 200ft and going under Rte 8, come to a four way intersection with Stop sign, go straight ahead onto East Albert Street. After 50ft come to a four way intersection with Stop sign. Take left turn onto Oak Ave., continue on Oak Ave. for three blocks until you come to a four way intersection with Carbone's Market on your left. This is Fowler Ave. take a left and go to the end, Nodine's is the white building on the left.

From Rte 8 South in Torrington Ct.: Take exit 43, Harwinton Ave. take a right off the exit, at the Stop sign, take a left onto Harwinton ave., at the next Stop sign is a four way intersection. Take a right onto East Albert Street, after 50ft. come to a four way intersection with a Stop sign. Turn left onto Oak Ave., continue on Oak Ave. for three blocks until you come to a four way intersection with Carbone's Market on your left. This is Fowler Ave., take a left and go to the end, Nodine's is the white building on the left.

From the intersection of South Main Street and East Albert Street: Head East or toward Rte 8 from South Main Street, on East Albert Street. Go two blocks to Oak Ave and take a right,go down three blocks, you will see Carbone's Market on your left. This street is Fowler Ave., take this left and go to the end. The big white building on the left is Nodine's Smokehouse, Smoking and Shipping plant.
