I have a P.O. Box, how can I have Nodine's delivered to me?
Since we only use UPS at this time, when placing an order you must give the actual "Physical Street Address" as the shipping address to have UPS deliver our products to you. UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes, and the Post office will not except UPS packages.

How do you say the name?
It is pronounced No-dyne's. Very easy.

Do you do Fund-raisers?
Yes, absolutely, we take Fund-Raising to a new level, we make fund-raisers so easy for schools, churches and clubs, we do most of the work and 25% of the funds before taxes and shipping goes to the sponsor of the Fund-Raiser and its good food, something we eat every day. The price of our products was not raised for the Fund-raising program, the prices we had the products listed at before the Fund-raising program was ever started is the same as the prices are now, no artificial markup here!. A Fund-raiser Specialist will come to your school, club or organization and explain all the details. The Fund-raiser program is a year round perpetual program, all you have to do is collect the checks. Great for private schools that have a student tuition program, what better way to raise the tuition then having friends and family members order food and 25% goes to the students tuition. What If I just want to shop on your website and I don't want to contribute to a Fund-raiser?
All you have to do is shop as if you were on a regular website. Look along the left side of the website at the departments and just pick the category you want to start with, pick a product or multiple products from different departments to purchase and continue to the secure checkout page. Don't forget to check our "SPECIAL SALE" department, products are coming and going here!

How can I tell if an "Item" is out of stock?
When an "Item" is out of stock,there is an "In Stock" "Out of Stock" indicator on the Product page and as an added precaution an "Item" will not be listed among the "Products" as it is not available for purchase, also we do not put "Items" on back order, so if you don't see something listed that was on the website a few days ago, it's out of stock or discontinued. Thats why its important to check back on the website often, or you can call us on the status of an "Item".

Do you have special sales on various products?
From time to time we have special pricing and introductory items in our "SPECIAL SALE" Department. Keep an eye on this section because items and prices change here!

I know you sell Perishable food products. How do you ship your products?
We exclusively use UPS at this time, and because our products are perishable we have a strict shipping schedule that we follow. Orders placed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, whether they are UPS ground or 2nd day air or next day air will be shipped on the day of the receipt of the order.
3 day select orders received on Monday and Tuesday will ship on those days, however an order received on Wednesday designated for 3 day select will not be shipped until the following Monday. All UPS orders received on Wednesday and Thursday will only be shipped if it is determined the package will arrive by Friday. UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday. Any orders received Friday will be shipped Monday. We pack all of our shipments with freezer packs that last about three days and most of our products are cooked and can survive trips of three days. If we were to send a package out that would sit over the weekend in a unrefrigerated warehouse, our products may deteriorate.

What was the concept behind "Quick and Easy Meals?
Several people contacted us, here at Nodine's about food that would be quick and easy and affordable, yet still gourmet. One of our fine employee's suggested gourmet pizza as a logical answer, since we had all the ingredients on hand anyway. We have a great selection of "Pizza Kits" and "Sloppy Mom's" (no insult to working moms, the main ingredient happens to be "My Mom's Meatballs" and served the way they are, they are kind of sloppy). These "Quick and Easy Meals are priced to move, try one today, the kids really love them, some adults have also admitted "they're pretty good and easy".

How come you don't allow shipping by UPS Ground Residential to my house in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the summertime?
If we shipped any of our products to Milwaukee in the summer by UPS Ground Residential it would get so hot that you would not be able to eat the product when it arrived. It probably would not be fit for human consumption.We want to send you only good tasty food. A note about shipping: We can only ship UPS Ground Residential to specific areas of the country, namely the Eastern U.S. (East of the Mississipi.).
Central U.S and Western U.S. must be shipped 3 Day Select and 2nd Day Air. Next Day Air is available in all the States. All 3 day select shipping can only be shipped on a Monday, due to the fact that a package shipped on Monday will arrive on Thursday and we give UPS a day for any problem they may encounter for bad weather or other. Remember our products are perishable and the freezer packs we put in your package will only last 4 days at the most. Shipping choices available at the end of the order.

Do you have wholesale prices?
Yes, you must present a tax number when you call, E-mail or fax us to qualify for wholesale prices.Our wholesale list has quite a few more products than what is on our web-site, that are geared to the food service industry. If you are in the food service industry and would like to use or carry our products please call 1-800-222-2059 ask for a Sales Representative to send you our wholesale product and price list.

Do you use "Real Smoke" liquid smoke?
No, We use only natural smoke from burning select hardwoods, such as hickory and maple, and other natural ingredients such as apple pumice (leftover pulp from the making of apple cider),the Southern Juniper Berries and Peppercorns. These smoking materials are loaded into a smoke generator and the smoke produced is pumped into the smokeroom in a controlled amount for that medium smoked flavor.

I noticed that your Hams don't have much water content and are very lean. Why?
Each Ham is hand selected for quality, uniform size and trimmed of excess fat, and we don't soak our Hams in water. Thats why extra care needs to be taken when cooking, You don't want to serve a completely dried out Ham.

Are your Turkeys and Hams fully cooked?
Yes, our Turkeys and Hams are fully cooked and can be eaten as is or need only to be heated through. Don't overheat as this will dry them out.

Are all your products fully cooked?
Yes, with the exception of "Yankee Little Link Sausage", "English Style Banger Sausage", "Buffalo Burgers", "Venison Burgers"(Which need to be cooked.) and both the "Smoked Salmon Side Sliced" and "Smoked Salmon 8oz. Party Package" (The Salmon is cured and cold smoked, not cooked and it can be eaten as is. No, its not considered Sushi.). You know that party you have coming up? The one you don't want to spend the whole day or two prepping for, just order Nodine's products!

Do I have to place an order through your catalog or from the Internet?
No, we have the retail store in Goshen CT. just a couple of hundred feet north of Rte 4 and Rte 63 rotary intersection on the left behind a Victorian house 39 North Street/Rte 63. (look for the sign), there we sell most of the things we make, for that "I need to see it", hands on experience and you can call them to see if its in the store in-stock or it can be delivered to the store within a day or two. The Goshen retail store actually carries some Items that we don't sell through mail-order, and is always fun to visit because, you can ask for samples! Just don't get carried away and ask for a sample of everything in the store. (The phone number for the Goshen store is 1-860-491-4009). Do you make personalized gift baskets?
No, due to shipping regulations and time constraints we cannot, but our "C89 Gourmet Delight " is packed in an "Insulated Wooden Picnic Basket" and shipped in a cardboard box.We have pre-selected "Gift Packages" for that special someone for a holiday or their birthday and we also do allow you to mix and match and create your own gift package (without a basket) from any of our items, and we will ship it to the specified address without including a bill or a priced invoice to the gift recipient and we add a gift card with your personal message to the recipient. Whether its for a birthday, holiday or a special day Nodine's Products make great gift ideas. (The amount you paid stays between you and us).

My husband and I can't tolerate Nitrites,well he can't, he gets headaches from Nitrites, but we love smoked foods. Do you offer any Non-Nitrite products?
Yes, all of our Smoked Cheeses, Smoked Fish, All Beef Skinless Non-Nitrite Frankfurts, Smoked Boneless Non-Nitrite Chicken Breast and Non-Nitrite Bacon sliced or half slab.

Are any of your products shipped frozen?
Yes, most of our products are kept frozen and then shipped frozen because they are perishable items, so allow for thawing time when you order items for the holidays. See Detailed Descriptions of products as to whether we ship them frozen or not.(Note: Even though they are packed frozen with freezer packs, Items may thaw some during shipping.).

Does Nodine's Smokehouse sell anything else besides their good Smoked Foods?
Why yes, we carry some original recipe Mustards and a number of Mini Pate's and even some New England Homestyle Fudges, just look in the Specialty Items Department.
